Description

This Framework Agreement is for the provision of construction related professional services by a team of Consultants and their supply chain, collectively referred to as an Integrated Consultant Team (ICT). The Economic Operator will provide ICT Services, including but not limited to design, design development and project management/contract administration for Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) Construction Projects through the duration of the framework regards major new and refurbishment works. The first of these projects is expected to be the construction of a new 134 bed Acute Mental Health In-Patient Hospital on the Antrim Area Hospital site. Other capital works projects may be commissioned subject to funding and satisfactory performance of the ICT. The Contracting Authority is not obliged to give any or all future commissions within this framework. The ICT has the right to refuse to undertake any or all of the offered commissions within 2 weeks of the offer.

Renewal Options

This Framework Agreement will be awarded for a period of 4 years with the option to terminate at the end of Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 or at any other time as may be deemed necessary by the Contracting Authority.

Form of Contract. An NEC3 Professional Services Contract will be used to provide the Services. CPD is assisting the Contracting Authority [Northern Health Social Care Trust] in conducting the procurement process for this requirement, but for the avoidance of doubt, the contract will be entered into by the Northern Health Social Care Trust and the successful tenderer(s) and CPD is not acting as a central purchasing body. . . The Contracting Authority expressly reserves the right:. . i. to award one, some, all or no Lots; . ii. not to award any contract/framework agreement as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice or to cancel the procurement at any stage; and. iii. to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition. . and in no circumstances will the Authority be liable for any costs incurred by Economic Operators or Candidates. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly at the sole risk of the Economic Operator or Candidate participating in this procurement process.. . No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting framework agreement or contract indeed there is no guarantee that any framework agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc will be paid if a contract or framework agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Economic Operators should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position..
