AGCSU on behalf of ‘NHS England and NHS Improvement — Specialised Commissioning Team’ invited suitably qualified and experienced to delivering specialised critical care ambulance transport service for the East Midlands region including Coventry and Warwickshire. The contract was for 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years (total contract duration 7 years).

The key objective of this procurement was to select a provider for delivering the specialised critical care ambulance transport services, to support: • neonatal critical care (NCC); • paediatric critical care (PCC); and • Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) services for paediatric and adult service users.
