Description
Suffolk County Council is seeking to engage with suppliers regarding the provision of Personal Safety and Lone worker Devices and Services from November 2021 and are looking to commence a procurement process mid-2021.
Total Quantity or Scope
Suffolk County Council currently has a single vendor collaborative Framework Agreement in place for devices and services for use by Suffolk County Council, including any trading organisations wholly owned by the Council; arms length bodies established by the Council and other public contracting authorities within geographical boundaries of the East of England. It is anticipated that the resulting tender will be similar in nature and that the supplier will offer a full range of cost effective solutions to cover all risk profiles to include monitoring of all live devices/solutions, appropriate intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as well as training.

Prior to the commencement of any procurement process, Suffolk County Council seeks to engage with the market by way of offering the opportunity for suppliers to individually present the devices and services on offer which will include a private question and answer (QA) session. Interested suppliers should email helen.muddock2@suffolk.gov.uk in the first instance to request an information pack no later than 12 March 2021. Following receipt of the information pack, suppliers will then be invited to request a date and timeslot for a presentation and private QA session. These sessions will take place between the following dates: 22 to 26 March 2021, with actual dates to be confirmed in due course. These sessions will be delivered virtually using via Microsoft Teams and are expected to last between 1-2 hours.
