Description

The UK Research and Innovation BGS laboratories require the purchase of two laser ablation system to achieve their scientific objectives. The laser system will be coupled to a variety of ICP-MS systems (quadrupole, magnetic sector — single and multi-collector), for the purposes of collecting spatially resolved elemental and isotopic geochemical data. These This data will be both in the form of discrete spot and mapped analyses. The geochemical data will be required to be seamlessly integrated with spatially referenced positional data from the laser ablation system and spatially resolved cross-correlated data from other instruments i.e. optical microscopy, SEM, cathodoluminescence. Total Quantity or Scope

The first system will be required for delivery by the 1 March 2021 and the second system, for delivery by the 31 March 2021.
