Description

River Clyde Homes are looking to procure an experienced and competent contractor to undertake the Operation and Maintenance and Metering and Billing of the District Heating System located in the Broomhill Area of Greenock. The successful contractor will derive its revenue from the sale of heat from the District Heating System.

Total Quantity or Scope

The contractor will be required to undertake some initial upgrade works to the District Heating. Further detail of the requirement is contained within the additional documents attached to this notice. Following the initial upgrade works, the successful contractor will derive its revenue from the sale of heat from the District Heating System.

Although RCH have provided the draft tender documentation at the outset of the process, this is for information purposes only. This is a two stage procurement process, so bidders are only required to submit their completed SPD document and their written references to be evaluated at this stage. All SPD's must be submitted electronically via the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) Electronic Tender Post Box. Any response not submitted via the Post Box will not be considered. Any queries relating to the contract must be raised via the 'Question Answer' function of the PCS website. A 'SPD Guidance' document is attached to the notice. All bidders should ensure that they read and understand this document before completing the SPD. A Health Safety File is also available on request. It is envisaged that the top five highest scoring companies following the SPD stage will be invited to tender for the contract.
