Description
The Association of North East Councils Limited trading as NEPO is inviting tenders for organisations to participate in a maximum 60 month Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision British Sign Language Interpreters to provide a compliant route to market for both planned and unplanned requirements related to the Provision of British Sign Language Interpreting Services for those members of public for whom British Sign Language is their primary method of communication. The opportunity can be accessed via the NEPO eTender system.
Lot Division
1 | Face to Face and Video Link
This Lot incorporates all elements of Lot 2 - Face to Face and Lot 3 - Video Link 3. Providers must be able to supply against all requirements to be considered: • British Sign Language (face to face and video link) • Speech to Text Operator • Lip speaking (face to face and video link) Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and Providers must ensure that they can comply with this requirement. |

An Interpreter is physically present in order to allow parties to communicate via the following methods: • British Sign Language • Speech to Text Operator • Lip speaking Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and Providers must ensure that they can comply with this requirement. |
3 | Video Link
An Interpreter is present via video link to allow parties to communicate via the following methods: • British Sign Language • Lip speaking Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and Providers must ensure that they can comply with this requirement. |
4 | Specialist Services
An Interpreter is present to allow parties to communicate via the following methods: • Deafblind Communication • International Sign Language • Deaf Relay Interpreting Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and Providers must ensure that they can comply with this requirement. |
Renewal Options
The Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System will be renewed in a maximum of 5 years. The Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System will be for an period of 36 months with an option to extend for a further 1 x 24 months.
