Description

Translink wish to appoint a Principle Signalling Engineer to undertake the role of a Principles Signalling Principle Signalling Engineering to ensure the delivery of Translink’s programme for signalling and associated projects. The primarily role will be the involvement in all aspects of the Signalling and Telecoms design production and assurance within the Translink Signalling Projects office. It will cover GRIP Stages 1-5 for both internal and external projects. The role will also extend into GRIP Stages 6-8 and in particular the overseeing of the Testing and Commissioning activities. The role is to ensure that the appropriate Principle Signalling Engineering standards are used in compliance with the requirements of each Grip stage, relevant legislation, Translink Group and company standards, and relevant Network Rail Standards. In addition, the Principle Signalling Principle Signalling Engineer role they will be required to act as Translink’s Test in Charger (MOD 1) and / or Principles Tester (MOD 2) for in-house projects as required. The Principle Signalling Engineer will be required to work within Translink’s Policies and Procedures including Project Management, Procurement, Health and Safety, Environmental and Information management.
