Legal Justification

The current contract has extensions available; however, given the unforeseen impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic resulted unprecedented demand for paper hygiene products which could not have been reasonably foreseen by EANI. This modification extending the contract for 3 months is required to allow for an effective procurement exercise and the award of a robust contract fully compliant with the Public Contract Regulations.
