9 Level Switches – Conductive
  • Value: £100K

The aim of this procurement process is to set up mandatory kit framework agreements with suppliers who are capable of supplying and delivering any number of the 22 monitoring and control instrumentation lots outlined. The mandatory kit framework agreements will be used by both United Utilities Water (UUW) for replacement equipment, spares and consumables as well as a number of UUW appointed parties who are mandated to engage directly with our kit framework providers to deliver work.

10 Level – Hydrostatic Head
  • Value: £38K

The level transmitter shall be capable of inferring liquid level measurement by means of hydrostatic head in a range of applications ranging from crude sewage to final effluent in wastewater applications and from raw water to potable water in water applications. Instruments will be required for borehole level measurement applications and reservoir depth measurement applications. Applications may include requirements for rod or rope type instrument versions.

11 Level – Ultrasonic
  • Value: £16K

The ultrasonic and radar level measurement transmitters shall be capable of detecting liquid level in a range of applications ranging from crude sewage to final effluent in wastewater applications and from raw water to potable water in water applications. Additionally instruments will be required to monitor chemical level in storage tanks containing a wide range of chemicals found in the water and wastewater treatment processes e.g. Ferric Sulphate, Sulphuric Acid etc. Open channel flow (by ultrasonic or radar) to be used for flow measurement including for the Company MCerts applications.

12 Level - Radar
  • Value: £16K

The ultrasonic and radar level measurement transmitters shall be capable of detecting liquid level in a range of applications ranging from crude sewage to final effluent in wastewater applications and from raw water to potable water in water applications. Additionally instruments will be required to monitor chemical level in storage tanks containing a wide range of chemicals found in the water and wastewater treatment processes e.g. Ferric Sulphate, Sulphuric Acid etc. Open channel flow (by ultrasonic or radar) to be used for flow measurement including for the Company MCerts applications.

13 Level - Open Channel
  • Value: £12K

The ultrasonic and radar level measurement transmitters shall be capable of detecting liquid level in a range of applications ranging from crude sewage to final effluent in wastewater applications and from raw water to potable water in water applications. Additionally instruments will be required to monitor chemical level in storage tanks containing a wide range of chemicals found in the water and wastewater treatment processes e.g. Ferric Sulphate, Sulphuric Acid etc. Open channel flow (by ultrasonic or radar) to be used for flow measurement including for the Company MCerts applications.

14 Electromagnetic Flowmeters
  • Value: £25K

The instrument(s) shall be capable of measuring flow in raw water, partially treated water and final treated water in potable water treatment, and in crude sewage, final effluent and sewage sludge including MCert applications. Instruments are required for chemical dosing applications for a range of chemicals found in the water and wastewater treatment processes.

15 Area Velocity Flowmeters
  • Value: £188K

The instrument(s) shall be capable of measuring flow in raw water, partially treated water and final treated water in potable water treatment, and in crude sewage, final effluent and sewage sludge including MCert applications.
