Description

Maidstone Borough Council (“the Council”) is conducting a tender exercise to award a number of contracts for the provision of corporate maintenance services. These include: Lot 1. Mechanical Services Lot 2. Electrical Services Lot 3. Security and Fire Alarm Monitoring and Maintenance Lot 4. Lot Division

1 Mechanical Services

The Mechanical Services Maintenance Contract is for planned, responsive and cyclical repairs to heating, hot water, ventilation, and air-conditioning services. All PPM is to be completed in accordance with SFG20 standard maintenance specification for building engineering services. The contract is for maintaining plant and equipment 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year and includes emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

2 Electrical Services

The Electrical Services Maintenance Contract is for planned, responsive and cyclical repairs to the corporate buildings throughout the Borough. All PPM is to be completed in accordance with SFG20 standard maintenance specification for building engineering services. The contract is for maintaining plant and equipment 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year and includes emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

3 Security and Fire Alarm Monitoring and Maintenance

The Alarm Monitoring and Maintenance Contract is for planned, responsive and cyclical repairs to the fire and security alarms on the corporate buildings throughout the Borough. The contract is for alarm monitoring and maintenance of plant and equipment 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year and includes emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

4 Building Fabric Maintenance

The Building Services Maintenance Contract is for planned, responsive and cyclical repairs to the building fabric on corporate buildings throughout the Borough 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year and includes emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

Renewal Options

Two options to extend for a term of 12 months
