Description
The Joint Commissioning Function of London Borough of Bromley (LBB) and NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (collectively ‘the Commissioner’) is inviting tenders for the provision of Bromley Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service (Bromley CYP MHEWS). The core purpose of the service is to ensure that children and young people are supported to maintain positive mental health and emotional wellbeing, with their needs being met at the earliest opportunity. Where more urgent complex mental health and emotional wellbeing needs or crisis support is required, the service will ensure this this is provided quickly and effectively, as the Children and Young People (CYP) are supported into services that can meet their needs.
Total Quantity or Scope
The service, utilising the ‘THRIVE’ model for mental health and emotional wellbeing delivery, will have a focus on inclusive, preventative and resilience focussed practice that tackles health inequalities and evolves in keeping with local Pan London or national requirements. The service model will require delivery of both the ‘Getting Advice’ and ‘Getting Help’ components of the THRIVE model (roughly equivalent to a Universal or Tier 1 and Tier 2 CAMHS service) and deliver additional support aimed at reducing the need for CYP to be referred into the ‘Getting More Help’ levels of service (roughly equivalent to a Tier 2.5 service intervention to reduced demands on Tier 2 specialist CAMHS).
