Description
The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is seeking a specialist provider to deliver a new Hate Crime Victim Service in London. The service will have a set budget and is designed to complement existing hate crime services rather than supplant them. The provider will set up appropriate referral pathways into the service, a triage service to assess the level of support needed and an advocacy service for the most high-harm, high-need victims. There are five distinct strands of hate crime as defined by the Home Office. They are crimes motivated by: Race, Religion or Faith, Sexual Orientation, Disability Status and Gender/Transgender Identity. The successful provider will be required to deliver specialist services to victims affected by all five strands of hate crimes. Bids from Partnerships and Consortia are welcome.
