Description

East Staffordshire Borough Council is seeking organisations to provide grounds maintenance services including burials and emergency works. There are three Lots: Lot 1: Grounds Maintenance Lot 2: Cemetery Grounds Maintenance and Burials Lot 3: Trees and Hedges The Authority is therefore seeking suitably qualified organisations to bid for a single Lot or a combination of Lots. The proposed Contract is for an initial term of five (5) years with the option to extend for up to a further five (5) years. The contract is due to commence from 1st November 2021.

2 Cemetery Grounds Maintenance and Burials
  • Value: £1M

Lot 2 is a contract for an organisation to provide grounds maintenance services and burials at Stapenhill and Rolleston cemetery: • Burial works • Grass cutting and maintenance • Shrub bed maintenance, reinstatement and new works • Hedge maintenance, reinstatement and new works • Herbaceous bed maintenance and new works • Hanging baskets and planters • Chemical control • Furniture fittings and fences • Litter picking • Emptying and cleansing of litter bins • Winter gritting The proposed Contract is for an initial term of five (5) years with the option to extend up to a further five (5) years.
3 Trees and Hedges

Lot 3 is a contract for an organisation to provide arboriculture services including emergency works: • Hedge maintenance, reinstatement and new works • Tree maintenance • Emergency works The proposed Contract is for an initial term of five (5) years with the option to extend up to a further five (5) years.
3 Grounds Maintenance
  • Value: £10M

Lot 1 is a contract for an organisation to provide grounds maintenance services at the Authority’s open spaces in East Staffordshire including emergency works and winter gritting on Council car parks and land drainage.
