Legal Justification
Over the course of the contract NCC has invested in the development of content management software, an online mobile departure board facility, integration of media and messaging capabilities to enhance Travel and Transport Service's travel information provision, allowing bus passengers to access the information they need more effectively and efficiently. In addition to maintaining the current stock of RTPI screens in Norfolk, it provides a consistent, reliable supplier to support Transport for Norwich's Tranforming Cities project which will see the implementation of various projects to enhance sustainable modes of travel throughout the Norwich area at least until April 2024. Increasing the provision of RTPI screens will play an integral role in achieving this.
