Description

Procurement for Housing wish to establish a DPS for the Supply of Specialist Materials for use by PfH Members throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is intended that the DPS will run for an initial period of five years with the option to extend for a further period of up to five years.The opportunity has been divided into six categories as follows - (1) Roofing materials and associated products, (2) Glazing and associated products, (3) Ironmongery, (4) Joinery materials, timber and associated products, (5) Flooring materials and associated products and (6) Other specialist materials.At the Invitation to Tender stage PfH Members will define the requirements including tender requirements and specification, delivery model, pricing model and form of contract.Please refer to Document A - DPS Pre-Qualification Guidance for further details.

Lot Division

1 Roofing materials and associated products

Supply of Roofing materials and associated products.Supply of materials will predominantly be used for responsive works, however, may also be used for planned, compliance and development works. In addition, dependent upon the requirements of the PfH Member the DPS may be utilised for the supply of materials for works within commercial properties and may include other sectors in addition to housing for example but not limited to healthcare, education and care facilities.Please refer to procurement documents for further detail.

2 Glazing and associated products

Supply of glazing and associated products.Supply of materials will predominantly be used for responsive works, however, may also be used for planned, compliance and development works. In addition, dependent upon the requirements of the PfH Member the DPS may be utilised for the supply of materials for works within commercial properties and may include other sectors in addition to housing for example but not limited to healthcare, education and care facilities.Please refer to procurement documents for further detail.

3 Ironmongery

IronmongerySupply of materials will predominantly be used for responsive works, however, may also be used for planned, compliance and development works. 4 Joinery materials, timber and associated products

Supply of joinery materials, timber and associated products.Supply of materials will predominantly be used for responsive works, however, may also be used for planned, compliance and development works. 5 Flooring materials and associated products

6 Other specialist materials

Supply of other specialist materials.This includes all other materials not specified under Category 1 to Category 5. Supply of materials will predominantly be used for responsive works, however, may also be used for planned, compliance and development works. In addition, dependent upon the requirements of the PfH Member the DPS may be utilised for the supply of materials for works within commercial properties and may include other sectors in addition to housing for example but not limited to healthcare, education and care facilities.Please refer to procurement documents for further detail.

Renewal Options

It is intended that the DPS will run for an initial period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 5 years.
