Location

Description

Highways England is seeking to appoint contractors to deliver intrusive pavement surveys. Surveys include but are not limited to: - coring of pavements to determine the pavement structure, layer thicknesses and condition as well as the extent of pavement deterioration; - trial pitting and sampling by hand or mechanically, including the location and identification of utilities and services; - dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP); - excavation round vehicle restraint systems (VRS) posts to check condition; - laboratory testing of samples to determine physical properties. The Selection Questionnaire has been launched on the Bravo e-sourcing system. (This is secure area reserved for your projects only); - you can access attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in 'PQQ/ITT Details' box. 3) Responding to tender - click 'My Response' under 'PQQ/ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining); - the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek clarification; - note deadline for completion, then follow the instructions to complete the PQQ/ITT; - there may be a mixture of online/offline actions to perform (there is detailed online help available).
