Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to BEAT. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. The purpose of this contract is to secure the provision of training packages to support the parents and carers of children and young people (CYP) with an eating disorder and the healthcare staff who do not work in eating disorder (ED) services but who are increasingly becoming responsible for CYPs with disordered eating. The package will also include support for individuals who are waiting for treatment to start. Health Education England (HEE) believes that BEAT is the only organisation with the requisite expertise and experience to deliver the specific learning requirements needed to support eating disorder services to respond to the impact of the Covid Pandemic and the surge in referrals of Children and Young People (CYP) to eating disorder services in the South West. The financial envelope for the contract is £77,473.00
