Lot Division

1 Domestic Abuse Support Service
  • Value: £2M

The Domestic Abuse Support Service (DASS) is a requirement to enable Worcestershire County Council (WCC) to meet its statutory duty as set out in the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (legislation.gov.uk) published in April this year. This includes the provision of specialist domestic abuse support to adults and children living in emergency and safe house accommodation in addition to outreach services.

2 West Mercia Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service
  • Value: £2M

This Service is for a West Mercia Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service for high risk Victims/Survivors of domestic violence and abuse aged 16 years and over. (Although the Service will not work directly with children under the age of 16, it will make referrals to safeguard children at risk of harm).

3 DRIVE Project
  • Value: £1M

The Drive Project focuses on priority high-risk or serial perpetrators, both male and female, aged 16 and over, as this group carries the greatest risk of serious harm and engage poorly in available services. By addressing perpetrators’ behaviour Drive targets the root cause of domestic abuse and improves outcomes for victims and children. The key objectives are to: • Reduce the number of serial perpetrators of domestic abuse • Reduce the number of repeat and new victims • Reduce the harm caused to victims and children
