Description

The Authority wishes to award a framework agreement for Fixed Electrical Inspection and Testing and Portable Appliance Testing to Properties within the County of North Yorkshire and surrounding Council Authority Areas. This framework contract is to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Service Visits and Planned Repairs Works to ensure that all Fixed Electrical Installations, Portable Appliances and Stage Lighting Installations under this agreement meet all statutory safety requirements and are maintained appropriately. Work must be carried out in accordance with appropriate British Standards, Approved Codes of Practice and Manufactures specifications also in accordance with best practice as determined by a recognised trade body – for example, NICEIC, ECA or NAPIT.

Properties not maintained and/or owned by the Authority (i.e. schools, Pupil referral units, and other public authorities) have the option to sign up to or out of this framework as part of the Authority’s traded service.

Properties not maintained and/or owned by the Authority (i.e. schools, Pupil referral units, and other public authorities) have the option to sign up to or out of this framework as part of the Authority’s traded service.
