Brief Description of Requirement NERC and The Crown Estate are co-funding the Ecological Consequences of Offshore Wind research programme (ECOWind), which has a £7m budget to fund projects that will enhance understanding of the ecological consequences of the planned expansion of offshore wind in the context of increasing pressures on UK marine ecosystems and provide evidence to inform marine policy and management. This procurement is for the ECOWind Champion role which will be critical for the successful day to day management and leadership of the ECOWind programme, working closely with the programme funders to ensure it achieves its full potential, all commissioning and delivery risks are managed appropriately, and all stakeholders are engaged effectively.

The appointed Champion will be critical for the successful day to day management and leadership of the ECOWind programme, working closely with the programme funders to ensure it achieves its full potential, all commissioning and delivery risks are managed appropriately, and all stakeholders are engaged effectively.
