Provision of Medical Services to NHS Scotland Health Boards

Total Quantity or Scope

The Authority is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for External Medical Services. The DPS will be operated on a purely electronic basis and is open to new entrants for throughout its life who meet the minimum criteria specified in the PQQ. The PQQ is for a DPS for Providers with the potential additional capacity in the provision of range of inpatient procedures, clinics and outpatient services to support the NHS in Scotland in delivering comprehensive and effective healthcare services. Potential Providers are invited to submit a PQQ demonstrating capability for surgical procedures for adults and children to be performed by named qualified and competent surgeons, with all appropriate and necessary steps taken to limit complications, minimise infection, and to provide where appropriate aftercare and follow-up. Additional information: This notice describes the Authorities intention to establish a DPS.
