Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to Professor Dame Jill MacLeod Clark. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. Heath Education England [HEE] believe that Dame Jill Macleod-Clark is the only person suitable to take on the role of Independent Chair, providing support such as to meet specific requirements, of the HEE Future Nurse, Future Midwife Strategic Assurance Board. Dame Jill is the only provider with the requisite expertise and experience to assist HEE in fulfilling the Mandate deliverable to ensure the implementation of the Future Nurse Standards of Proficiency. Specifically:  An in depth understanding of the NMC standards, their background and objectives  Is a respected nurse leader with credibility among the key stakeholders.  Is independent of the organisations required to ensure effective implementation.  Provides expert knowledge of nursing and midwifery education  The Board has a well-established, clear workplan that Professor Dame Jill Macleod Clark has driven forward since its initiation in 2018 The financial envelope for the contract is £16,800.
