Other Information

The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University`s e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield If you have any questions or comments in rA high-speed temperature field measurement device is required to understand the thermal and thermo-mechanical characteristics of high-speed impact, machining, laser ablation and other highly transient thermal events that occur during the manufacture and testing of next-generation advanced engineering materials including composites and hybrid materials. To characterise the role of thermal energy during such events, a sensor, in the form of an Infra Red (IR) detector is required. This needs to be capable of high data-capture rates (at least 10kHz under windowed resolution) of temperature field data in the IR spectrum. The sensor should provide high-resolution, high-fidelity temperature data within the field of view that allows the operator to measure large thermal gradients in a single temperature field and temperature changes over small periods of time - clearly and accurately.elation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system.
