Description

Worcestershire County Council has the statutory responsibility to ensure that the county's public rights of way network is properly mapped and maintained and the network is unobstructed and available for use by the public. An important part of the Council's work is replacing roadside signposts across the public rights of way network. The purpose of the Tender is to identify a suitable organisation to provide an ongoing programme of replacement of roadside signposts on public rights of way. Additional support is required for an expanding programme of work. The initial contract will be for a period of 12 months with an option to extend.

All cost, expenses and liabilities incurred by the Supplier in connection with the preparation of their submission, the Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule shall be borne by the Supplier. No tender can be considered to be accepted until such time as the particular tenderer has been notified. If a tender is accepted there will not be a contract until the Authority's offer has been accepted by the tenderer. Worcestershire County Council of reserve the right not to award a contract in full or in part.
