Description

The Association of North East Councils Trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) is seeking to establish a multi-supplier, multi-lot Framework Agreement for the provision of library books and digital content for use by contracting authorities throughout the United Kingdom.

Lot Division

1 Adult Fiction, Non-Fiction Books & Multimedia Materials
  • Value: £4M

NEPO are using an Open procedure for the procurement of this Framework Agreement for Library Books & Digital Content. Lot 1 of the Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of two suppliers able to provide a comprehensive selection of Adult Fiction, Non-Fiction and Reference Books along with Multimedia Materials (CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays). Tenderers will be evaluated in accordance with the award criteria contained within the invitation to tender documents.

2 Children's Fiction, Non-Fiction Books & Multimedia Materials
  • Value: £2M

NEPO are using an Open procedure for the procurement of this Framework Agreement for Library Books & Digital Content. Lot 2 of the Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of two suppliers able to provide a comprehensive selection of Children's Fiction, Non-Fiction Books along with Multimedia Materials (CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays). Tenderers will be evaluated in accordance with the award criteria contained within the invitation to tender documents.

3 Wrap Service; Fiction, Non-Fiction Books & Multimedia Materials
  • Value: £6M

NEPO are using an Open procedure for the procurement of this Framework Agreement for Library Books & Digital Content. Lot 3 of the Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of two suppliers able to provide a comprehensive selection of Fiction, Non-Fiction and Reference Books along with Multimedia Materials (CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays). Tenderers will be evaluated in accordance with the award criteria contained within the invitation to tender documents.

4 Digital Content
  • Value: £4M

NEPO are using an Open procedure for the procurement of this Framework Agreement for Library Books & Digital Content. Lot 4 of the Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of four suppliers able to provide a comprehensive selection of digital content. Lot 4 will be divided into 3 sub-lots: 4a eBooks & eAudiobooks 4b eMagazines & eNewspapers 4c eComics Tenderers will be evaluated in accordance with the award criteria contained within the invitation to tender documents.

Renewal Options

This Framework Agreement will be a direct replacement for the current NEPO418 Library Books & eBooks Framework; it is anticipated that the succeeding framework agreement will be subject to future renewals.
