Description

The Scottish Police Authority (known as the “the Authority”) require a competent Contractor in place for Provision of Radio Masts Portfolio Marketing, Management and Maintenance Services. The Authority’s radio mast portfolio is situated throughout Scotland.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Contractor will be required to: - manage and supervise access to the radio sites; - arrange annual condition surveys; - manage a maintenance programme; - market sites for sharing; - Radio sharers and ground lease rent reviews/lease renewals; - manage existing sharing contracts and new installation projects; - decommissioning from masts; and - rates recovery. It is to be noted that Police Scotland will be responsible for sending licence and any other invoices (rates, electricity, track recharges etc.) to Sharers and for debt recovery of these invoices (which is not in scope in relation to the Contract). During the period of the Contract, the Authority and Police Scotland intend to carry out a Strategic Review in relation to the future delivery model in relation to the mast portfolio.

Renewal Options

3 yrs + 4 months -4 years + 4 months if option to extend is taken. Duration includes 1 x 12 month extension at discretion of Authority.
