Description
Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) is currently out to procurement for the provision of a Tier 2 Adult Weight Management Service.
Total Quantity or Scope
Hertfordshire County Council is seeking to commission a new tier 2 weight management service to support adults in Hertfordshire who are obese to lose weight and to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The programme will need to demonstrate how it addresses health inequalities by focusing on key priority groups who are often at more at risk of obesity and who find it harder to access traditional adult weight management services such as people with learning/physical disabilities, BAME communities as well as other groups such as people with severe mental health issues and men.The estimated total value of the Contract is stated in II.1.5) of this notice and is for the initial term inclusive of the approximate value for extension.For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated annual value of the Contract will be approximately £324,213. The Contract will be awarded for an initial term of 19 months, with the option to extend the Contract up to 6 further months.
