Description
Please note this is not a call for competition but a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advise prospective providers of the Authority's current intentions. As part of this PIN the Authority is releasing a pre-recorded webinar (see below for further details) regarding the Independent Living Services (ILS) - for Registered Social Landlords, Care Homes, Domiciliary Care, Extra Care, and Nursing Provider Markets. Independent Living Services (ILS) are a new model of housing-with-care services primarily for older people but not exclusively older people. Access to an ILS will be based on need and not on age. This intended procurement process is for the delivery of ILS in Ely in East Cambridgeshire. The Authority is at the late pre-market stage and is seeking to update the market on the project and seeking feedback. We believe that providers’ input into design work is an important part of the process prior to any formal procurement. The Authority has a pre-recorded webinar that provides an update in relation to the Independent Living Service project and the current strategy for the future procurement process.
