Description

This is not a call for competition, this is a prior information notice to inform the market of a Supplier Day in relation to a forthcoming procurement. UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) are looking to implement a Dynamic Purchasing System for the supply of Linear Actuators to the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The requirement will be split in to four Categories of; Category 1 – Linear Actuators, Non-Vacuum, Encoded Category 2 – Linear Actuators, Non-Vacuum, Non-encoded Category 3 – Linear Actuators, Vacuum Compatible, Encoded Category 4 – Linear Actuators, Vacuum Compatible, Non-encoded Bidders can apply for one or more Categories. UKRI wish to host supplier engagements to understand and interact with the relevant market place for a requirement such as this.

Alternatively, you can provide your details within the Delta eSourcing platform here; https://ukri.delta-esourcing.com/respond/EW85CJ872W STFC will be hosting two Supplier Events in relation to this requirement, one on-site in person and one via a Zoom video call. The presentation content from each will be the same, there is no need to attend both. The aims of the sessions will be to present the requirement and the procurement process to the potential supplier base. It will also give suppliers a chance to ask any questions. Details of these will also be shared after the events. The sessions are scheduled for; Monday 25 April 2022 (10.30am) - On-site at; Science and Technology Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell Campus, Didcot, OX11 0QX. For the on-site session, we require you to limit attendees to 2 people from your organisation, please supply us with your organisation name, attendee names, email addresses, contact numbers and vehicle registration. The presentation room should be available from 10am if you wish to arrive in good time for a prompt 10.30am start. Wednesday 27 April 2022 (2.00pm) - Video Call via Zoom. Please supply us with your organisation name, attendee names, email address and contact number. Please note this session may be recorded so that all questions can be captured. The sessions are envisaged to be no longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes each. If you wish to attend either Supplier Event, please confirm your attendance in your expression of interest email, no later than 21 April 2022, 4pm. Please note, all suppliers that express an interest in this requirement will receive all the information that is shared at the Supplier Event, even if they cannot attend.
