Description
Lot 1 - Protein Crystallisation Drop Setter - The machine will provide scientists the ability to easily set up crystallography plates in a high-throughput manner, with the precise, accurate, consistent drops required for reproducible crystals. This machine will dispense crystal screens in SBS plates in 48,96 and 384 well formats. Lot 2 - Microliter Liquid Handler: The machine will provide scientists the ability to design and produce crystal optimization screens, with capacity to combine each of up to 10 buffer reagent (including viscous reagents) in precise quantities to set up 48 and 96-well SBS or 24 well Linbro style plates. Establishment of a Termed Agreement for the Supply of Crystallisation Liquid Handlers and related accessories, consumables, extended warranty, and service & maintenance. Five year agreement in the first instance subject to satisfactory performance with scope to extend by a further 5 x 12 months subject to need and satisfactory performance.
