Description

The University is launching a procurement to complete construction and refurbishment works to Hugh Stewart Hall which is situated on the University Park Campus. The potential scope of works is summarised as follows:- - Refurbishment of the existing accommodation comprising circa 323 student bedrooms, common spaces and social spaces (1930 Block = 105 bedrooms, 1960 Block = 218 bedrooms); - Works to the existing Hall building fabric including window and door replacement; replacement of mechanical and electrical services installations- Overcladding of the 1960’s Block- New two storey Amenity/Welcome Hub extension to include new kitchen facility, dining area and social space- Landscaping works in the immediate vicinity of Hugh Stewart Hall

Total Quantity or Scope

The project team are appointed and the early design stages are being progressed. Key dates are as follows: - 06 May 2022 – Issue of ITT, - 10 June 2022 – Return of ITT, - 13 May 2022 – ITT Evaluation, - 01 August 2022 – Start of Standstill, - 09 January 2023 to 28 June 2024 – Contract Works Period.
