Description

NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision for Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care Practice Training. Health Education England (HEE) will be looking for a provider to a bespoke Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care Practice (60 credit modules at level 7) for GPs and other primary care healthcare professionals, comprising three 20 credit modules over the 12-month duration of the programme. The programme is to be delivered over the Academic Year on the same day of each week to ensure clinicians participating can cover clinical duties outside of the course. The overall aim of these modules should be designed to extend the skills of Primary Care healthcare professionals and should be developed with 60 credit modules at level 7 which help develop post Fellows with systems leadership and workforce transformation skills through delivery of academically underpinned quality improvement projects and a "subject specific" module based on their clinical area of interest with an attendant academic assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to support Health Education England with this provision. The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £378,000 inclusive of Vat (£126,000 inclusive of Vat per year). The contract period will be for three (3) years, with the option to extend by up to a further two (2) years subject to annual review and available budget. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 19th May 2022 at 12:00pm (midday).
