This is a modification to Lot 1 of NGS' Framework Agreement for the Provision of Transportation Services. Lot 1 is for the provision of exhibition transport including co-ordination of the complete logistics package associated with exhibitions from collection from lenders to return at the end of the exhibition worldwide. Legal Justification

Covid-19 and Brexit are continuing to have an effect on the Art Transport sector, with a range of difficulties including: - Supply chain issues, for example shortages in construction materials and of retaining HGV trained staff; - Fluctuating price and availability for the movement of air freight; and - Staffing reductions leading to reduced capacity and resources to complete a major tender exercise. NGS believe a 12-month extension period may allow for the sector to recover/stabilise, therefore allowing NGS to secure stronger market competition for re-tender.
