Indicators
- Contract modified due to unforeseen circumstances.
Legal Justification
Covid-19 and Brexit are continuing to have an effect on the Art Transport sector, with a range of difficulties including: - Supply chain issues, for example shortages in construction materials and of retaining HGV trained staff; - Fluctuating price and availability for the movement of air freight; and - Staffing reductions leading to reduced capacity and resources to complete a major tender exercise. NGS believe a 12-month extension period may allow for the sector to recover/stabilise, therefore allowing NGS to secure stronger market competition for re-tender.
Other Information
This is a modification to Lot 2 of a Framework Agreement awarded by the National Galleries of Scotland on 29 November 2018 (SC Ref: 566033). (SC Ref:691434)
