Description

Wakefield Council is seeking to procure a provider to deliver an adult population health and wellbeing survey. Wakefield District is the 54th most deprived district in England (out of 317), with an adult population of around 280,000. It is an increasingly diverse district with many different communities and neighbourhoods within it. To serve the population effectively, commission services appropriately and ultimately achieve improved outcomes for residents, it is important for all partners of the Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Board to engage with the resident population so that we can understand their needs, perceptions, attitudes and behaviours.

The successful provider will be responsible for the delivery, data collection, analysis, reporting and presenting of findings of a population health and wellbeing survey within 6 months of contract award and again in 4 years following the extension of the contract at the discretion of the Council.

It is anticipated that the contract may be extended at the Council's discretion following the delivery of the first survey. The second survey is required to be delivered 4 years from the data of the initial commencement to which the Council will give not less than 3 months notice of the extension
