Description
It is our intention to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of External Defibrillation Devices, Resuscitation and Simulation Manikins and related accessories. Provision of related products, maintenance and service, warranty and Training. Awards under the framework could be made through but not limited to capital purchases. To assist in the strategic direction of the procurement NHS Supply Chain are keen to engage with providers in this market therefore a request for information is sought.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Framework will be divided into Lots, which may be subject to change or additional lots added. The request for information is an opportunity for NHS Supply Chain to better understand the capabilities and requirements of the market to support the NHS. The intention is to engage with the market to determine how this service could be delivered differently, building on supplier expertise to develop the procurement strategy and subsequent framework contract. The Framework Agreement between NHS Supply Chain and successful applicants will reserve the right to purchase the same or similar supplies and/or services from suppliers not appointed to the Framework Agreement at its sole discretion. NHS Supply Chain expects to provide successful applicants with the opportunity to offer additional savings to customers through the provision of discounted pricing, value added offerings and commitment/bulk buy initiatives.
