Description

Dog training services - Military Working Dogs Delivery Team are looking for interested parties to supply Military Working Dogs with a requirement for Advanced Canine Protection and Detection and Military Working Dogs to provide a Mobile Ground Search Capability. The Authority is considering placing a 12 month Enabling Contract (with options for a further 2 years). The welfare of the dogs must meet the five dog welfare needs listed in the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and detailed in the DEFRA Code of Practice for the welfare of Dogs 2009. The dog(s) shall be available within twenty-four weeks and eight weeks respectively from the point of tasking. The dogs shall be trained to an initial capability and pass an Authority veterinary and capability assessment prior to acceptance. Full details shall be included at the Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage.

Total Quantity or Scope

Dog training services - Military Working Dogs Delivery Team are looking for interested parties to supply Military Working Dogs with 2 differing capabilities under a Multi Supplier Framework. Advanced Canine Protection and Detection and Military Working Dogs to provide a Mobile Ground Search capability. … The dog(s) shall be available within twenty-four weeks of request for Canine Protect and Detect and eight weeks for the Mobile Ground Sensor. The dogs shall be trained to an initial capability and pass an Authority veterinary and capability assessment prior to acceptance by the Military User. The Authority may carry out a pre contract award evaluation if it is deemed necessary.
