Description

In July 2021 we published the School of Medicine's 2021 Work-Related Stress Survey. This survey was conducted by the University's Health and Safety team to gauge stress levels among different staff groups within the School of Medicine against Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards. Data was collected and analysed as part of this survey, and a report produced by the University Health and Safety team. Several themes were identified as areas for change and improvement. External Facilitators - Affinity Health at Work, who bring expertise in workplace health and wellbeing and have worked with a number of University departments, the NHS and beyond. They were suggested to the School of Medicine by the Health and Safety Executive since they had already worked with other Schools within the University of Nottingham and had produced good results. The School of Medicine Executive have already agreed and moved forward with working with Affinity Health at Work since November 2021, and a series of workshops have been taking place throughout Jan-Mar 2022 to address recommendations and prioritise actions to address.
