Description
Kent County Council want to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 10-18 years who have experienced trauma such as sexual exploitation, coercive and abusive relationships, and familial domestic abuse. These children and young people are at immediate risk of poor outcomes and, unless their needs are addressed, will continue to experience the impact of these traumas throughout their lives. The services will be available to those living within the Kent County Council geographical area (this does not include Medway). The Contractor(s) shall manage referrals and deliver a timely intervention with the young person and their family, as appropriate. Key principles of the intervention will be: • A strength based approach to resilience • Building self-efficacy through working towards goals articulated by the young person • Using a trauma informed approach and response

1 | West Kent Lot 1: West Kent – Service to cover the following districts: Dartford, Gravesham, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Malling and Maidstone. Minimum number of service users per year - 157 |
