Description

HEE is seeking to commission an evaluation of HEE's (2020) Advanced Clinical Practice: Capabilities framework when working with people who have a learning disability and/or autism to support people with learning disabilities including people with a learning disability who are autistic, at advanced practice level delivered as postgraduate programmes of study by Cumbria University and Edge Hill University in 2021/2022. The evaluation will examine, fitness for purpose, value for money, impact and potential impact on service and workforce, the experience of participants and stakeholders. It will make recommendations for future development and roll out at scale. It will inform further development in advanced and advancing practice that can be applied and aligned to the work of the Centre for Advancing Practice. The evaluation will focus specifically on reviewing the development and impact of the PG Cert courses emerging from the capabilities framework, which will also be related to the subsequent associated credential, and assessing their impact on advanced practice in the learning disability and autism workforce and its services. The contract period will be 9 months. The total contract(s) value shall not exceed the available budget of £125,000.00 over the full duration of the contract. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 16/09/2022 at 12:00pm (midday).
