Description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) commissioned a service to provide accommodation and support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) which commenced in August 2022. However, the current demand for supported accommodation outweighs existing capacity and therefore the Council is looking to commission additional supported accommodation for USAC. The Council is seeking to establish a framework of suitable providers who are able to provide additional supported accommodation for UASC against two lots: Lot 1: Core and Cluster Lot 2: Emergency supported accommodation provision

The Council is seeking to establish a framework of suitable providers who are able to provide additional supported accommodation for UASC against two lots. The UASC service will offer safe accommodation and support to those requiring a planned transition into supported accommodation and to those requiring emergency accommodation further details of the services that will be purchased under the Framework by the Council are as set out in the service specification; An open multi-provider framework agreement will be put in place which means that during the framework Term the Council may re-open the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People’s Supported Accommodation Service tender exercise to run further competitive processes to allow new providers to be appointed to the framework. Bidders may tender for one or more of the following lots: Lot 1: Core and Cluster - Single Provider Award Lot 2: Emergency supported accommodation provision - Multi-Provider Award The framework agreement will be established with an initial duration of 5 years, with option to extend for a further three of up to two-year extensions to a maximum of 11 years with a proposed contract start date of the 1st of April 2023. This is a new competitive procurement process using an open procedure conducted in accordance with the light touch regime of the Public Procurement 2015 Regulations and advertised in the Find a Tender Service Find high value contracts in the public sector - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) This opportunity can be accessed via the East Midlands Tenders portal https://www.eastmidstenders.org/ Reference DN643351 Please read all the tender documents.
