Legal Justification
A new regional tender renewal process has been initiated and is currently at advertisement stage (see notice number 029933-002 on www.find-tender.service.gov.uk). The delay in advertising this tender has been necessitated by regional digital change initiatives (introduction of a new LIMS and a new NIPACS+ Radiography reporting system) with the result being that this current contract is to be extended, as indicated to 13 September 2022 and/or to any period to 13 March 2023 utilising 6 months further extension) to allow for receipt of bids, evaluation and subsequent implementation. This extension is being conducted in line with Reg 72(1)(b)(ii) of the 2015 PCR.
