Legal Justification
Following significant increases to the FCERM programme and requirements to protect properties and Environment Agency assets from flooding, the requirements have been far greater than anticipated. A replacement framework is under development and is currently forecast to commence in Spring 2024. A 12 month extension is required to ensure continuity of service for critical requirements.
