Description

Crown Commercial Service has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System for an initial period of four (4) years which has now been extended by a further seven (seven) months and is inviting bidders to request to participate for the Heat Networks and Electricity Generation Assets (HELGA) DPS. This DPS will include provision of Energy Advisory, Design & Technical Services, Delivery Services, Energy Purchase Agreements and Commoditised Products. The four (4) distinct elements of the DPS service and product filters include location (Overseas and National), Project Value, Products & Services.

Lot Division

1 Service 1 - Technical services relating to the advice and design of any demand management or generation type

The supplier shall have the ability to provide Technical services relating to the advice and design of any demand management or generation type. Additional information: Customers may enter into a contract with a supplier for a period of their determining, which may exceed the duration of the RM3824 - HELGA DPS Agreement, should this agreement be terminated at any point in time. The flexibility of the contracting period allows the customer to determine appropriate contracting timelines required in order that the supplier can meet the needs of the customer.

2 Service 2 - Delivery services to install, manage and maintain any demand management or generation type

The supplier shall have the ability to provide Delivery services to install, manage and maintain any demand management or generation type. 3 Service 3 - Provision of Energy Purchase Agreements through direct or indirect opportunities

The supplier shall have the ability to provide Provision of Energy Purchase Agreements through direct or indirect opportunities. Additional information: Customers may enter into a contract with a supplier for a period of their determining, which may exceed the duration of the RM3824 - HELGA DPS Agreement, should this agreement be terminated at any point in time. The flexibility of the contracting period allows the customer to determine appropriate contracting timelines required in order that the supplier can meet the needs of the customer.

4 Access to Commoditised Products through bulk purchasing

The Supplier shall have the ability to provide Access to Commoditised Products through bulk purchasing. Additional information: Customers may enter into a contract with a supplier for a period of their determining, which may exceed the duration of the RM3824 - HELGA DPS Agreement, should this agreement be terminated at any point in time. The flexibility of the contracting period allows the customer to determine appropriate contracting timelines required in order that the supplier can meet the needs of the customer.

5 Service 5 - One-stop-shop solution to deliver full end to end advisory, design, delivery, energy purchase agreements, and commoditised products

Other Information

If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your submission, you will be invited by customers to submit tenders for relevant service and product requirements through a call for competition. The DPS remains open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its four (4) year duration. CCS reserve the right to reduce, extend or terminate the DPS period at any time during the lifetime of the DPS in accordance with the terms set out in the DPS Agreement. ** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** The value provided in Section II.1.5 is only an estimate. The Authority cannot guarantee to Suppliers any business through this DPS Agreement. The Authority expressly reserves the right (i) not to award any DPS Agreement as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice; and (ii) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition; and in no circumstances will the customer be liable for any costs incurred by the Suppliers. We consider that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (“TUPE”) may apply at the Call for Competition. It is the Suppliers responsibility to take your own advice and consider whether TUPE is likely to apply in the particular circumstances of the contract and to act accordingly.
