NHS Arden and Greater East MidlandsCommissioning Support Unit on behalfof NHS England - East of England (theCommissioner) would like to notify themarket of an opportunity to provide aDiabetic Eye Screening Programme(DESP) across NHS England - East of England. The aim of the Diabetic Eye Screening programme is to reduce the risk of sight loss amongst people with diabetes by the prompt identification and effective treatment, if necessary, of sight threatening diabetic retinopathy, at the appropriate stage during the disease processThe commissioners have structured the following lot approach Lot 1 :Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes* Lot 2: Cambridgeshire and PeterboroughLot 3: Hertfordshire and West EssexLot 4: Mid and South Essex Lot 5: Norfolk & Waveney Lot 6: Suffolk & North East Essex*Please note Milton Keyes falls under the delegated authority of NHS England - East of England.The contract will be for a duration of 5years with the option to extend for up toa further 2 years.Please note the deadline for ITTsubmissions is 12:00PM on 20th June 2023
