Description
EC0759 Quantity Surveying Framework - Lot 1 Please note is an award notice for the following services: This Framework will enable our project teams to call off the services of quantity surveyors who will undertake numerous roles e.g. cost planning, prepare tender and contract documentation, provide reports etc, as ascertained within the scope of services. Lot 1 will cover our Maintenance/Small Works Projects, which have a contract value of up to 2 million GBP. We wish to appoint six service providers and the call off for each service requirement will be on a rotational basis which will benefit our project programmes. This Framework is not exclusive and contracts for major projects may be advertised and awarded under a separate procurement exercise.

Indicators
- Contract modified due to additional needs.
Legal Justification
The contract extension will allow for a continuation of services of a subsequent New Build/Refurbishment phase in a Project for which the service provider has already performed Feasibility Services. A change in contractor may require previous RIBA stages to be reworked and re-costed where these elements cannot simply be transferred from one contractor to another. In such instances, this would cause significant inconvenience and substantial duplication of costs for the University. The increase in price does not exceed 50 percent of the initial contract value.
Other Information
Please note the values stated under this award notice in II.1.7 and V2.4 are estimated values for this framework based on historical spend. (SC Ref:731606)
