Description

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is looking to appoint a competent provider to deliver a Social Care and Health Policy MSc. The Social Care and Health Policy MSc provides a MSc-level qualification for policy professionals to build on current skills and improve policy making in DHSC. This will improve the quality of DHSC policy by embracing new policy changes and linking to public services, thus reducing ineffective policy making, improving quality of policy and meeting operational targets at the same time. Intended contract term: 5 years (3 cohorts) with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years (up to an additional 3 cohorts) in periods of 12 months. Estimated contract value ranges from £577,500 (10 students per cohort per location for 3 cohorts) to £1.1m (40 students per cohort across the locations for 3 cohorts) (plus £1.1m as maximum total value of potential variations for cohorts 4-6 of the contract (based on a cohort size of 40)), excluding VAT. Therefore, the maximum possible total value for the duration of the contract is £2.2m.
