Description

BCP Council are undertaking the procurement for the comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair of existing stairlift and through floor lift equipment, and the supply and installation of new and/or replacement equipment at properties within the BCP Council area. It is anticipated that the contract will start on 01 October 2023 for a period of three years with the option to extend annually for a further two years (3+1+1). Therefore, if both extensions are taken, the full length of the contract will be for five years.

Total Quantity or Scope

The scope and specification of the contract is for the preventative maintenance and repair of existing stairlift and through floor lift equipment, and the supply and installation of new and/or replacement equipment at properties within the BCP Council area, which may increase or decrease depending on service requirements.

Renewal Options

The Authority has 2 options to extend the contract and each option shall be an additional 12 months. The maximum period of this contract shall therefore be 60 months and this period includes all options to extend.
