Description

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to engage with the market for both the Young Person's Service Accommodation and Floating Support for Expectant Young Mothers and Young Mothers with Dependants (Contract 1 referenced 23-024), and the Young Person's Service Accommodation and Floating Support for those aged 16-25 years that are at risk of homelessness with multiple needs (Contract 2 referenced 23-025).

Total Quantity or Scope

Both contracts are to provide the following: • Accommodation Based services - This is short-term accommodation for people where there is support available onsite or through a visiting service. • Floating Support services - This is temporary support where visits take place in a person's home or local community location in order to support the individual in setting up/maintaining a home or preventing homelessness. The services will need to provide person-centred support to individuals to prevent and reduce the risk of homelessness for Rotherham. They are to offer the following: • Support for individuals who are at risk of losing their home, to help maintain their home and continue to live independently. • Support for individuals who are homeless, to help them settle into a new home and community and to reduce the risk of becoming homeless again. RMBC will be holding an online market engagement event on the Thursday 13th July from 10.00 - 11.30am via Microsoft Teams to discuss the planned commissioning, provide an overview of each service and highlight the procurement approach. If you wish to attend this event, please contact the commissioning team phcommissioning@rotherham.gov.uk Both contracts will commence in April 2024 and be for the following 3 years, with a possible option to extend for a further 2 years (subject to performance outcomes and at the Councils discretion). The financial arrangements for each contract are still to be determined. Please note there is no requirement to submit any documentation or information at this time, each contract will be subject to individual procurements, this is a market engagement event only. Additional information: The slides from the market engagement will be shared with all attendees and via YORtender project ID 76166.
