Description

Tenders are invited for the supply of Provision of Best Interest Assessors, in respect of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Assessment Frameworks and the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Act of 2007. These will be procured through a single formal tender process. Service Providers are invited to bid for the contract and in doing so are required to demonstrate their relevant knowledge and experience of having provided similar services previously to those being tendered. The Authority wishes to commission service(s) from suitably qualified providers who can offer the provision of Best Interest Assessments to eligible customers in order to safeguard against an unlawful deprivation of liberty taking place. The initial Framework Agreement period is three years. The Framework Agreement is estimated to commence 9th November 2023 and expire 8th November 2026. There will be an option to extend the Framework Agreement for up to a further one year, subject to satisfactory performance, funding and business needs. Maximum Framework Agreement period is, therefore, four years. Please note suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation must do so by 11:30pm on 17/09/2023. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a bid. The deadline for returns is 10:00am on 18/09/2023.
